A young couple in their late twenties returns from a close friend's wedding banquet to the industrial flat in Kwai Hing that they share with their friend, Conz. However, Cha, who sees the industrial unit as merely a temporary shelter, longs to move out and start a new life in a stable home with her boyfriend, Matthew, who is still searching for his direction in life.
As the rift between the couple deepens, Matthew remains captivated by the freedom and familiarity of the industrial space, hesitating to make a move. Before the year ends, Matthew must confront a pivotal choice: stay and protect his current freedom, or bravely embrace a new future and shoulder its responsibilities.
